Code of Ethics

Impresa Luigi Notari decided to implement a Code of Ethics based on the belief that any organization that wishes to act in a lawful manner in the society and surrounding environment has a duty to communicate its ethical principles clearly and transparently.

This Code of Ethics intends to summarize, also in the light of the Italian Law Decree n. 231 dated 2001, the rules of conduct that the company sets as the foundation of its business.

The Code of Ethics defines the set of values on which the company is founded and the set of responsibilities that it assumes inside and outside the company. Compliance is of fundamental importance for the good functioning, reliability and reputation of the company, which are factors that constitute decisive assets for the success of any business.

This Code of Ethics was drafted according to the main standards, guidelines and documents existing at the national and international levels, governing the respect of human rights, corporate social responsibility and corporate governance.

In particular, this Code of Ethics draws inspiration from:

• the United Nations Declaration of Human Rights, the European Union Charter of Fundamental Rights, the Constitution of the Italian Republic;
• the Core Labour Standards set out in the Conventions of the International Labour Organization (ILO), the Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises of the OECD (Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development), the Global Compact of the United Nations, the principles of the Social Accountability 8000 and the Enterprise Values Charter of the European Institute for Social Accounting (IBS);
• existing best-practice in terms of codes of ethics.
