The first important work completed in the railway sector was the train station at Alessandria. Since then, Impresa Luigi Notari has acquired the Italian Railway Authority among its most important clients, developing great entrepreneurial ability both in terms of human resources and equipment.
Over the years, it worked in all Italian regions, whether in the presence or in the absence of railway traffic.
Bridges, tunnels, retaining walls, underpasses, stations, stops, and new lines are the works completed in this sector that allowed the company to have the necessary expertise to become one of the most important operators in the Italian Railway Network (RFI) (certified for contract works for an unlimited amount) in the presence of railway traffic, both in tunnels and along the line.
With these references we succeeded in tendering for contracts outside Italy, where, especially in Switzerland, we have already completed important works for the construction of new lines (Mendrisio – Stabio) and the repairing of existing lines (Albulatunnel – Gambarogno).
The company owns engineering trains, electric locomotives, work cars, tool vehicles (including operating platforms, milling machines, concrete-mixing systems, shotcrete systems, drilling machines), safety vehicles and road-rail loaders in a considerable amount as to be able to autonomously manage any kind of project.
